We’ve got two pretty interesting pieces of radio for you and/or your ears today, as we do our best to provide you with the quality O’Dark programming you love even as the fall membership drive wages all around us.
The big pod is surprisingly Halloween-free today, despite being cast in October. We’re nothing if not mysterious around here. First up is Life Without Parole: The Case of Charles Lewis Jr., which looks at the sentencing of Lewis, who was found guilty of a murder committed when he was not quite fourteen years old. Really compelling and thought provoking stuff there.
And then we’ll bring you a long-form interview from our own Rebecca McInroy (really, all of Rebecca’s interviews are long-form because she just won’t stop talking once she starts). Rebecca (Ms. McInroy if you’re nasty) will be chatting it up with comedian and filmmaker Negin Farsad, director of the new movie The Muslims are Coming.
Finally, in a surprising display of timeliness for the likes of us, today’s podcast ends with Hawk plugging tonight’s edition of Views and Brews, live at the Cactus. So listen today or you’ll miss out!
