Well, it’s that time of year again. Membership drive time, when we ask you and folks like you to pitch in and send a little money down KUT way, in exchange for a coffee mug or something. We kicked off the fall drive a little earlier this morning, and even though we’re all super busy this week, we still found time to put together a lovely little podcast for you.

We’ll start off with an award-winning piece from the fine folks at Radio Diaries. Teen Contender is the story of female teen boxer Clarissa Shields. Really good stuff, and worthy of its award at the 2012 Third Coast Audio Festival.

And then it’s the award-eligible Views and Brews Remix from KUT’s own Rebecca McInroy. This time around, Rebecca’s talking with Bob Duke and Art Markman about “The Art of Smart Thinking.”
