Matt the Electrician @ 10/4/12

October 3, 2012 9:53 am by: Reid O'Conor

Matt Sever used to work long hours as an electrician, and then without showering or changing clothes or anything, he’d head to bars and clubs and play some music. He’d apologize for his appearance, explain that he was an electrician, and then continue to play his music. And so he came to be known as Matt the Electrician. Matt the Electrician will be playing the Fall Family FunRaiser on this Saturday at Nutty Brown Cafe, a benefit for the Groundwork Music Project – an initiative to provide young children with low cost music lessons. Matt the Electrician played live on KUT, joined by the Groundwork Music Orchestra. Enjoy listening to them live in Studio 1a.
