October 29, 2012 10:58 am by: Reid O'Conor

North Carolina based band Lost in the Trees is Ari Picker’s pop passion project. The group started out as his one man bedroom recording project, and since then has evolved to become something of a folk orchestra, with a full backing band and string section. In 2010, Lost in the Trees released their first album in their current, more orchestral iteration, called All Alone in an Empty House. Lost in the Trees recently released a new album, entitled A Church That Fits Our Needs. The album has been very well received, and its release brought them national attention. Tomorrow night, Lost in the Trees will play a a show at The Mohawk. Listen to their live set in Studio 1a RIGHT HERE!
