Closures Thursday Morning Along 183
It'll be slow going in parts of Cedar Park tomorrow morning. Photo by Daniel Reese/KUT NewsA giant truck making its way from oil fields in Alberta, Canada, to a Houston refinery will pass through Central Texas Thursday.
Expect intermittent road closures on U.S. 183 in Cedar Park starting around 9 a.m., as workers will need to lift traffic signals and power lines there.
The truck is expected to leave Cedar Park around 11, turning onto Ranch Road 620 and passing in or near Lakeway, the Y, Dripping Springs and Manchaca before heading south on Interstate 35.
The truck’s permit from TxDMV requires it to travel during daylight hours.
