The University of Texas Football team lost to West Virginia over the weekend. The Longhorns couldn’t quite overcome Heisman trophy front-runner Geno Smith’s four touchdown passes. But head coach Mack Brown says playing against top-tier offenses are a weekly occurrence in the Big 12.

“This league’s gotten hard,” Brown said. “You better play good every week. You look up, our best quarterbacks in the country are in this league, best offenses in the country are in this league, there’s some really good defenses struggling in this league. It’s just a fun time for the fans, and coaches are having to coach hard.”

The team heads to Dallas this weekend to play Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry.
