Alt-J in Studio 1a 10/15/12

October 15, 2012 12:34 am by: Reid O'Conor

British quartet Alt-J play a wholly unique type of alternative pop. The band fearlessly blends psych rock, surf pop, and experimental stylings to create a sound that is completely fresh. Their musical innovation has lead some to call them “the new Radiohead.” The Cambridge-based outfit pushes its brand of creativity and innovation through its name, which is taken from the keystroke used to make the symbol ∆ on an Apple computer.  Fresh from an appearance at ACL this weekend, Alt-J stopped by our own Studio 1A. You can listen to the session RIGHT HERE!
