THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: Moonlight Towers

September 21, 2012 3:06 pm by: Laurie Gallardo

It’s smokin’ hot today, esteemed music lover! Check out the latest edition of The Good Music Club, the live monthly music event and online video series highlighting local music artists that make the Austin scene the amazingly awesome scene that it is. Every time we record these performances, we share the videos with new fans and resources outside of Austin, which means across the country and worldwide.

Today, we’re proud to present the powerful purveyors of power pop potency, Moonlight Towers! (Say that really fast ten times.) Killer riffs, hooks and rhythms a-plenty. Last year’s full-length release Day Is the New Night, is still a major Texas Music Matters favorite, by the way. And, as you’ll see in these videos, this local quartet always kills it in their live performances.

Prepare yourself for the next taping of The GMC on September 29th at The ND, located at E. 5th St. and Brushy, near Progress Coffee. Our featured performers: Jack Wilson, These Mad Dogs of Glory, Little Radar and Suns of Orpheus. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the first taping starts at 9 p.m. Admission is FREE. Your favorite price. See you there!
