Perry’s Poor Sleep Not Apnea, He Says

Texas Governor Rick Perry says it wasn’t sleep apnea that kept him awake during his unsuccessful run for the Republican Presidential nomination.

The new e-book “Oops,” written by Texas Tribune Reporter Jay Root, disclosed that the Governor had trouble sleeping during the campaign. Some consider the lack of sleep the reason Perry performed poorly in debates.

The governor said today he did have trouble sleeping, but it was a nerve issue in his foot that kept him awake.
