The newspaper Roll Call finds that the Republican’s personal wealth topped $300 million last year. McCaul’s wife is the daughter of the CEO of Clear Channel Communications.
Austin Democrat Lloyd Doggett comes in at 38th-richest with a net worth of nearly $9 million.
