FBI: UT Threat Caller Still At Large
Photo by Liang Shi/KUT NewsFederal investigators are still looking for the person responsible for Friday’s bomb threat at the University of Texas. FBI agent Erik Vasys says they’re taking the hoax very seriously.
“These events take a large amount of manpower, time and money to respond to,” said Vasys. “That’s why we’re very aggressive and very serious about locating and prosecuting who is behind these hoaxes.”
Vasys would not say if the FBI had established a link between the UT bomb threat and others – including one called in Friday to North Dakota State University and a bomb threat made today against Louisiana State University.
