Austin singer-songwriter Emily Wolfe plays music rooted in a sort of folky pop sound, overlaid with her smooth vocals. But Wolfe isn’t just your guitar and vocals type, she’s also a talented multi-instrumentalist, with guitar, banjo, drums, bells, and piano all in her arsenal. These talents give her album, Director’s Notes, a very intimate and vulnerable feeling – each recording is very personal. Emily Wolfe will play at the Cactus Cafe Sept 24th, or you can hear her live on KUT when she stopped by Studio 1a RIGHT HERE!
