Elias Haslanger @ KUT 9/10/12

Austin jazz musician Elias Haslanger has played saxophone with some great names in Texas music, including Alejandro Escovedo and Asleep at the Wheel. Haslanger has played in some of the most famous jazz clubs across the United States and Europe, and composed pieces that have been played on radio stations around the world. KUT’s own Jay Trachtenberg considers Haslanger’s third album, Kicks are for Kids, to be one of the best albums to come out of Austin in the 90′s. Elias Haslanger stopped by KUT recently to record a session in Studio 1a, check it out below.
