Portland’s Y La Bamba swings through Austin as part of an extensive tour for their new album Court the Storm taking them across the US before heading back to the North West. The septet brings a modern swing and swagger to their folk music roots for a fun mix of old and new that feels familiar without being outdated. They are also stopping by the Cactus Cafe for an intimate performance at the University of Texas at Austin. Listen here for Y La Bamba in the brand new Studio 1a.
