It was a night of entertaining stories and interesting connections when KUT’S Views and Brews looked at the intriguing evolution of  the Punk and the Metal scenes in Austin in the late 70s and early 80s. Margaret Moser and Raoul Hernandez of the Austin Chronicle added context to the unique perspectives offered by Chris Gates of the Punk groups “The Big Boys” “Poison 13″ and “Junkyard” and Jason McMaster of the Metal groups “Dangerous Toys” “Fallen Angel” and “Watch Tower”.

We hope you enjoy listening back to this fun evening, and check back soon for video highlights from the event.
