It’s our first post-Olympics podcast, and that means it’s time to start busting out some Olympics-themed pieces, because we’re horrible at reading calendars. We’ll start off today’s ‘cast with a little something from O’Dark hall-of-famer Nate DiMeo’s Memory Palace. That guy Nate is a whiz at uncovering interesting tidbits of historical note and then turning those tidbits into radio nibs and nabs. This time out, he’ll school you on a forgotten bit of Olympic lore dating back some 108 years.

And the games don’t stop there! We’ll move from Olympics past to Olympics future, as producer Julia Barton takes a look at the preparations for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia in Sochi 2014 Olympic Building Boom.

And while we’re off touring the world in an audio way, we’ll stop in for a visit with O’Dark buddy Charles Spira and Love The French Way 2: The Dress and the Ladder, in which that old softy Charles takes a look at another of his favorite French love songs.
