Austin-based quartet Rosie and The Ramblers have been playing together for about a year now, but all the combined talent you find in the band comes from lots of experience gigging across the country and different parts of the world.

They put a little bit of everything into their country music, from winsome ballads to a little rock ‘n’ roll. And it’s great music to dance to, of course. Just think Loretta Lynn, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt, a handful of names on their broad list of influences (or, as the band puts it, “all of the above.”) Lead vocalist and guitarist Rosie (Selena Rosanbalm) earned her music degree in Oklahoma, and even spent some time performing in New York City, but deep down inside, she knew Texas was the place to be.

Be sure to check out Rosie and The Ramblers at their show tonight at The White Horse, 500 Comal St. The Superlites start out the evening at 10 p.m., followed by Rosie and the gang at midnight. A lovely way to shake off the Monday blahs. Recommended.
