Today’s podcast will be as comfortable as an old shoe, and twice as smelly. We’ll enjoy visits from two O’Dark stalwarts, Jake Warga and Charles Spira. Dedicated listeners to the big big show will know and love these guys, ’cause we use their stuff all the time and they’re both (as far as we know) really nice dudes.
First up, it’s our old buddy Jake from Seattle, who brings us the delightful Road Trip — West Coast, in which Jake steps out of his own comfort zone to talk with strangers while using mass transit. Listen to it on the bus and it’s meta! Also, be warned if you hate dirty words, because there’s a dirty word in here (it starts with bull, and you can probably guess the rest).
And what can be said about Charles Spira that hasn’t been said already? Lots of stuff, probably, but it won’t get said today on this page. What we will say is stuff that we’ve said before, that he’s a sweetheart of American radio who’s actually from Belgium and loves French music. So are you going to enjoy listening to him play a new selection of the good French stuff? You bet you are.
