Indigo Girls in Studio 1a 7/13/12 @ 11:30pm
Amy Ray and Emily Sailers have been performing under the name Indigo Girls since 1985 as students at Emory University but actually got their start as high schoolers. After a long run of big label albums the duo started recording under their own IG record label in 2007 and have released a string of well received albums since then, including their most recent Beauty Queen Sister. The Indigo Girls are coming to Studio 1a to help say goodbye to our old building. Tune in to KUT at 11:30 on Friday for a special performance with host Jody Denberg.
