The soldier convicted of plotting to blow up a restaurant full of Fort Hood soldiers will represent himself in court for his sentencing trial.

Naser Jason Abdo told the judge Thursday morning that he felt uncomfortable sharing personal matters with his attorneys.

Abdo was arrested last summer at a motel in Killeen with bomb-making materials. His sentencing will be Aug.10. He faces up to life in prison.
