UT Students in National Guard Can Still Get Tuition Assistance

The University of Texas has reached an agreement with Texas Military Forces to keep tuition subsidies for students who serve in the National Guard.

The Department of Defense had issued a policy in March saying it wouldn’t authorize the Federal Tuition Assistance program unless schools provide itemized tuition and fees statements, something UT does not do. But today UT announced it had reached an agreement with the Texas Military Forces to keep tuition assistance in place.
