THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: The Dalles

Greetings to you, mega-fan! It’s time once again to enjoy the next batch of awesome videos from The Good Music Club! You may know by now (huge thanks to the Texas Music Matters posse for last week’s show feature about the Club), The GMC is a live music event and an online video series featuring the finest Austin-based musical artists making an impact upon the local scene.

The main focus of The GMC is to share all the great music coming out of Austin with new fans and resources outside of the Austin area, including cities throughout the country and worldwide. It’s an exciting time for The GMC – we’re getting a lot more attention, and that means more attention for our featured artists.

This week, we present local roots rock quartet The Dalles, featuring songwriters Ben Ballinger (frontman, guitarist) and Blue Mongeon, drummer Drew Brunetti, and bassist Chris D’Annunzio. Brace yourself for some fiery waves of country, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll, and vocals by Ballinger that will blow your mind. What a phenomenal live experience this band presents. You’ll see for yourself in these videos.

There are many more great performances coming up! Save the date for the next taping (our sixth already, by the way) of The Good Music Club, happening June 29th at The ND (501 North IH-35) at E. 5th St. and Brushy, located very close to Progress Coffee. Our guest artists:  Slowtrain, Scorpion Child, Melogrand, and My Jerusalem. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the taping starts at 8 p.m. Admission, as always, is free. Don’t miss out!
