Texas teachers were introduced today to a new website aimed at sharing successful classroom strategies and content. Members of the Texas Federation of Teachers got a peek at sharemylesson.com as part of the group’s annual convention in San Marcos.

The site allows educators to upload, download or search for classroom content from all over the nation.

“The ability to just get into that computer, hit something with the mouse, click on it, open it up, make your connections, do what you’ve got to do is going to be phenomenal,” said Wanda Longoria, a teacher in San Antonio’s Northside Independent School District.

Website creators are visiting state conventions across the country to explain the site’s possibilities. The site is aiming for an official launch at the end of July.
