Kids Make TV Camp

June 26, 2012 2:10 pm by: KUT Staff

Teens are stepping out from behind the video games and computers for a week of hands-on filmmaking workshops and training at the channelAustin’s iYouth Media Institute Kids Make TV Summer Camps.

There is only one shot left this summer with the Advanced Directors Camp. Open to all teens 13-18 years old with film experience, the camp gives teens intense hands on training leading up to the premiere of their own short film at the end of the week.

For just the ladies, channelAustin has the Girl Scout Apprentice + Advanced Director Camps. The camps cover the basics of filming. From cameras, editing, audio, lighting and special effects, the kids will learn it all. Open to girls – girl scout or not – this camp is for the budding screenwriters, directors, producers and actors out there looking to launch their careers.

Registration is still open for all camps so don’t miss out this summer!
