The Invincible Czars are an eclectic group, to put it mildly. A smorgasbord of rock, klezmer, classical, marching band music and god knows what else, the Czars’ sound is unlike anything else I’ve heard.

Based in Austin, the group started with composer Josh Robins in 2002, when he was already playing and writing for several other musical projects. Now, The Invincible Czars consists of a varying group of talented instrumentalists known for their bizarre and humorous live performances. Their new album 1812 Overture will be released on July 1, at a good old-fashioned picnic-style performance, with food trucks and slapstick comedians to boot.

Tune in to hear The Invincible Czars play in Studio 1a RIGHT HERE.
