Hispanic Chamber Aims to Attract Mexican Entrepreneurs

The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is trying to figure out a way to bring Mexican entrepreneurs to Austin. KUT’s Andy Uhler spoke with Vicky Garza, who has this story in the Austin Business Journal.
Vicky Garza:
The chamber found that a lot of Mexican nationals wanted to set up shop in Texas, but because of the lack of direct flights to Austin, they would fly to Houston or San Antonio just because of the ease of travel. And they’re trying to encourage them to come to Austin despite maybe having to go through a transfer.
