On today’s podcast, we’re doing something a little special. Today’s cast is dedicated entirely to the work of our dear, dear pal Graham Shelby. Is it Graham’s birthday? Nope. Well, maybe it is. We can’t remember when Graham’s birthday is, so we’ve got a 1 in 365 chance that it’s today. That’s right — Graham’s a dear, dear friend whose birthday we’ve forgotten.

We’ll start off with The Heartbeat Story, a nice little autobiographical story from Graham, which should come as no surprise, because Graham’s a storyteller and really into talking about himself (we kid, Graham, we kid!).

Then it’s Interview with Fred Newman, in which Graham interviews Mr. Newman, who in addition to being a storyteller in his own right is also the sound effects guru for A Prairie Home Companion. Pretty interesting stuff.

And we’ll wrap it up with Shakespeare Behind Bars, a little feature Graham produced on a prison production of Romeo and Juliet.

That’s three pieces from one producer, each a different format; that’s pretty impressive if we say so ourselves.
