Armstrong Blasts Anti-Doping Agency

June 22, 2012 5:58 pm by: Nathan Bernier

Former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong has filed a scathing response to the latest doping allegations against him. Today was the deadline for the seven-time Tour de France winner to respond to allegations that he used performance enhancing drugs.

Armstrong’s lawyers accused the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency of violating its own rules and possibly breaking federal law during its investigation. Armstrong denies doping, noting that he never failed a drug test. He could be stripped of his titles if found guilty.

The case now goes to a USADA review board.
