With two LPs out already and supporters such as Bradford Cox of Deerhunter backing him, Colin Caulfield — the man behind the moniker Young Man — has quickly made a name for himself in the indie music world. Now, with his first full-length album Vol. 1, Caulfield has fleshed out a poppy sound that was more sparse in his previous work.

Intricate layers of strings and drums make Vol. 1 a dreamy piece of indie pop á la Animal Collective, with Caulfield’s voice adding a delicate thread to the mix. Keep tuned in to this new band on the block — there are surely many good things to come from them.

Young Man played in Studio 1a and you can enjoy their set RIGHT HERE!
