The Kitchen Sisters are some of our favorite radio producers of all time, and when Davia Nelson announced that she would be in Austin this past fall to present their NPR series The Hidden World of Girls we jumped at the opportunity to expand the discussion of girlhood and identity with Views and Brews at the Cactus Cafe. Listen back as we discuss stories of, “coming of age, rituals and rites of passage, secret identities—of women who crossed a line, blazed a trail, changed the tide.”
