The Intergalactic Nemesis Book Two: Robot Planet Rising
We here at KUT have long been supporters of The Intergalactic Nemesis, airing an early version of the sci-fi radio drama on the late, great SoundSight back in the past century. Over the past decade and a half, The Intergalactic Nemesis has undergone many changes, starting life in a coffee shop before moving on to larger venues. It’s also become a comic book series and a “live action graphic novel,” which combines the best parts of the radio drama and comic book versions.
Now, the second installment in the Nemesis trilogy is taking the stage at the Long Center before heading out on tour. Book Two: Robot Planet Rising continues and broadens the story of The Intergalactic Nemesis, and features art by David Hutchison projected on a two-story screen, live sound effects by Buzz Moran, live original score by Graham Reynolds, and performances by voice actors Shannon McCormick, Danu Uribe, and Jason Phelps.
KUT is proud to be one of the sponsors for The Intergalactic Nemesis Book Two: Robot Planet Rising.
Also, be sure to come by the Cactus on Tuesday, June 5 for a special Intergalactic Nemesis themed Views and Brews, featuring the cast of the show, creator Jason Neulander, and sound effects master Buzz Moran, hosted by Arts Eclectic’s Michael Lee.
And there’s more! Check out the first installment of Outtake Theater, featuring an animated version of part of Mike’s interview with Jason that didn’t make it to air!
