THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: Politics

May 3, 2012 1:01 pm by: Laurie Gallardo

Welcome to a brand new installment of The Good Music Club! We’re always excited to share the latest local music with you, and the best part is you can see it played live in an exclusive GMC  performance! The GMC is both a live music event and an online video series featuring the best of the best Austin-based music artists making an impact on the local music scene. Our goal is to share this great music coming out of Austin with resources and new fans outside of the Live Music Capital – throughout the country, and the rest of the world.

Today, we present indie dark-pop quartet Politics, whom you’ll be able to see at Pachanga Fest 2012. The band made their debut with their 2011 EP Cities, and have recently been working with musician and producer Matt Oliver on their forthcoming full-length LP.

The next taping of The Good Music Club is already scheduled! It’ll be a huge blowout show during Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th at The ND, located at E. 5th and Brushy close to Progress Coffee. Admission is free. We’ll announce the performing bands soon. Make plans to join us!
