Rebecca Gates‘ musical resume is pretty impressive. She’s recorded four full length albums (three as the leader of The Spinanes and one solo), toured internationally, and appeared on recordings with a smattering of big names in music including Willie Nelson and The Decemberists. Currently, she’s been focusing on her solo work, which at any turn could be rock, pop, or R&B. Gates is incredibly talented and versatile, and she’s got a killer voice to match. Tonight, she’ll be in Austin playing at Mohawk. You can also hear her on KUT, from the session she recorded with us in Studio 1a. Enjoy!
