KUT On The Move: Herman Dyal

Herman Dyal has designed plenty of donor recognition walls over the years. We think the fact that he’s been listening to KUT for decades is what inspired him to design a truly rich and immersive donor recognition wall…an artistic installation that makes you want to linger a bit and take it all in.
Those who contribute $500 or more during our week-long campaign will have their name listed on the KUT donor wall located at the heart of the station. The wall will feature the names of our donors integrated among images from our 50-year history. These interwoven images and names will wrap around Studio 1B, the newsmaker studio where high-profile local, national and international interviews are conducted.
“KUT has been a part of my life for decades and I imagined there must be a wonderful cache of images from the stations 50-year history: events, personalities, concerts, news stories,” he says. “It’s been exciting for me to go through the history represented in these images and know that they will be displayed for the community to see.”
