On this edition of In Black America, producer/host John L. Hanson Jr. presents his second, and final, discussion with the Honorable Glenda A. Hatchett, author of Dare To Take Charge: How To Live Life on Purpose. Hatchett has seen more worst-case scenarios than the average person. As she metes out judgment from the bench of her courtroom, she witnesses tales of unimaginable heartbreak and strife. But this experience, coupled with her years as Chief Presiding Judge of the Fulton County Juvenile Court and Delta Air Lines litigator have also taught her that it’s possible for people to inject possibility into powerful, inspiring phenomenon as the basis for her newest book.

Interactive as well as inspirational, Dare To Take Charge challenges the reader to ask self-reflective questions that lead to moments of self-discovery and a defined pathway to healing. Daring her audience to study the positive with the same interest and intensity that they study the negative, Hatchett uncovers the potential for grace and success in lives that are now punctuated with despair and unfaithfulness.
