There’s some dispute in the geek world over the true date of Star Wars Day. Some contend that it’s May 4 (you know, “May the fourth be with you”) and some swear by May 25, which is the day that the original Star Wars debuted in 1977. Me, I’m happy to celebrate my love of Star Wars any day of the year, so I’ll stay out of this debate and go back to building my Lego R2-D2. What’s all this got to do with today’s podcast, you ask? Well, in grand O’Dark tradition, we’re commemorating the 35th anniversary of everyone’s second-favorite Star Wars movie by mentioning it exactly zero times on the podcast.

So what are we presenting to the ‘casting masses, you ask? Well, how does a brand new Mikie Show grab you? Pretty great, right? What if you know that Mikie’s talking with newsman/publisher Ned Creighton? Even better? Even better.

Also, we haven’t heard from Nate DiMeo and The Memory Palace in far too long, ’cause Nate hasn’t produced any new Palaces in a long darn time. But that won’t stop us from running an old one, because it’s a great show and we’ll take old Memory Palace over no Memory Palace at all.
