Here I go, on another rave about some pretty cool triple bill business. This time around, it’s sort of a psychedelic dance party on a more electronic plane. Here’s the line-up, and it’s all local artists, of course:

DIY electronic duo End Wave. Joe Gardner (performer and composer Mental Dentist) and John Aldridge (Black and White Years bassist) formed their band in 2010, united by the seemingly unrelated influences of Aphex Twin, Pink Floyd and Primus.

Electro-darkwave trio Bali Yaah. Jonas Hodges, Alan Uribe and Chris Brown invoke a solid guitar-bass-keys pulse of psychedelic, Afrobeat and electronic styles.

Synth-core duo Xander Harris. Justin Sweatt and Devaki Knowles are the minds behind this John Carpenter-esque “Giallo-core/grave wave” dark dance fest.

Each band carries some impressive tracks with their own eclectic soundscape signatures and dance beats. Don’t miss out on this show – all three are playing Thursday night at The Swan Dive, 615 Red River. Doors open at 9 p.m. Recommended.
