Better known as a songwriter in the 60′s (he created the hits “Wild Thing” and “Angel of the Morning”), Chip Taylor released a new album of his own called F*** All The Perfect People with his new European band, The New Ukrainians. It came out on his own record label Train Wreck Records earlier this year. The music video for the title track of the album has made the rounds on the World Wide Web and has garnered it plenty of interest.
Sentimental and largely acoustic, F*** All The Perfect People is a far cry from some of Taylor’s early R&B-tinged hits. But the talented songwriter has definitely produced a country gem in this album. Let’s just hope that he remembers to censor himself when he’s on air Friday.
