THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: The Blind Pets

It’s time once again for The Good Music Club! The GMC is a locally-produced live music event and an online video series highlighting some of Austin’s best bands and solo artists making an impact on the local music scene. And this week, it’s all about the rock ‘n’ roll, brought to you by rambunctious and rowdy rock trio The Blind Pets.

This is a triple rock threat, with drummer Michael Gibson, bassist Dustin Hannah, and guitarist/wildman Joshua Logan at the helm, unleashing a jet-fueled amalgam of rock, punk, grunge and metal with uninhibited ferocity. Yet with all the intensity and primal fury, they deliver the show with an unpretentious air and sense of melody that reels you in. Plus, you have Logan doing some mutilating shreds and leaping about – both on and off stage – in an outrageous frenzy that leaves crowds mesmerized. Just check out these performances.

Don’t forget that the next taping of The Good Music Club is coming up:  April 30 at The ND, located at 5th and Brushy, very close to Progress Coffee. Details on the next bands to perform coming soon!
