It’s hard to not feel intimidated by the biography alone of musician Roscoe Beck. As a veteran of the Austin music scene he’s played with legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jaco Pastorius and Freddie Hubbard, and continues to collaborate with pillars of the music world like Leonard Cohen. Yet, even in his ‘walk with kings he has not lost his common touch’.  Here one gets a glimpse of this self-made man who continues to expand and create with the skill of a virtuoso and the bright-eyed curiosity of a child. We hope you enjoy this Portrait of an Artist with Roscoe Beck.
