The Air Force has decided to eventually relocate eight C-130 cargo planes from Fort Worth to Montana. Perry joined members of the Texas congressional delegation and governors from the other four Gulf states in asking for the planes to stay put.
Perry says the planes have played major roles in recent hurricane preparation, including hospital evacuations.
