Friday Podcast 4/6/12
Hello, interwebizens! And happy holidays! It’s Good Friday, and Passover starts tonight, so of course we’ve got a podcast for you today that has nothing at all to do with Easter or Passover. That’s just kind of how we roll around here. It’d be weird if the podcast did make sense, am I right? Yes, I am. Still, I think it’s fair to say that this is a good podcast that you shouldn’t pass over. See what I did there? Of course you do.
Here’s what we do have for you today: a new installment of Clever Apes, which is a really cool and educational science-type show. This one’s called “Curveballs from Space,” which actually is kind of topical, because today’s also Opening Day for the 2012 Houston Astros season (go ‘Stros!).
And speaking of baseball, we’ve also got a new installment of How Sound, which gives you a little inside baseball on the inner workings of radio production. Man, we ended up with a timely theme without even trying to! This episode’s called “The Natural State,” and it’ll take a look at how radio producers deal with excessive criticism (spoiler alert: we hate it).
