Austin based singer-songwriter Carrie Rodriguez harbors some incredible talent on her instrument of choice, the fiddle. She grew up playing the instrument, and given her breakout professional opportunity by Chip Taylor when he saw her play at SXSW in 2001. Rodriguez cut her musical teeth playing fiddle on tour for Taylor, and other artist such as Lucinda Williams and Alejandro Escovedo, all the while honing her songwriting skills. She’s put those songwriting skills to work across a smattering of both solo and collaborative albums. Tomorrow night, Carrie Rodriguez will play a show at the Continental Club, and you can hear her live in Studio 1a before the show RIGHT HERE!
