What We’re Watching: Do it Like a Local

March 8, 2012 10:42 pm by: Rebecca McInroy

Austin is already electric with SXSW Interactive and Film upon us and the Music conference only a few days away, and if you’re coming in from out of town it’s easy to get “shocked” by the overwhelming possibilities for enjoyment. Thanks to the guys at Flownonfiction we have a compass you can use to navigate the city and the scene. Flow’s David Modigliani, David Rice, and Matt Naylor sat down with Bobby Johns, owner of Stag and GM of the iconic Hotel San José, to share inside perspectives on everything from the best yoga studio and locally brewed kombucha, to tips on how to get the most out of the parties and find killer barbeque.

We live in Austin and still love this video because it provides us with a fresh look at our wonderful city. We hope you check it out and pick up a few new ideas that, whether you’re a visitor or a “local”, will enrich and enliven your SXSW experience.
