THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: Hello Wheels

This is the club you want to be in! Hello and welcome back to The Good Music Club, a locally-produced live music event and an online video series highlighting some of Austin’s best bands and solo artists making an impact on the local music scene. We’ve got another outstanding collection of performances this week by a local quartet that knows how to bring audiences to their feet, Hello Wheels.
Peter Shults, Matt Bradshaw, Nick Garza and John Shaw are the purveyors of a deliriously dynamic and passionate folk revival they refer to as “stomp-folk,” a high-energy melodic spree driven by a a host of harmonies and heavy rhythms that get you dancing. These gents have been known to pack rooms like the Cactus Cafe – one incident in particular inspired the band, who felt bad for people who couldn’t get into their sold-out show, to play some tunes just for them right outside the door. Yes, folks. That’s how they roll. And clearly, this is a band worth checking out, as you’ll see on these videos.
Looks like plans are already underway for the next taping of The Good Music Club on April 30 at The ND, located at 5th and Brushy, close by Progress Coffee. Details and a list of performing bands coming soon!
