So Percussion takes the concept of a percussion ensemble to another level entirely. The group is all over the map, between frequently interpreting famous percussion compositions, commissioning pieces, writing their own music,  leading workshops for aspiring percussionists at Princeton, and co-directing the percussion department at Bard College Conservatory, So Percussion stays pretty busy. Somehow in the midst of all their own crazy goings on, they also have found time to collaborate with other artists such as Dan Deacon, the Dirty Projectors, and the Princeton Laptop Orchestra. On Tuesday and Wednesday, So Percussion will perform in the  McCullough Theatre on the UT Austin campus as a part of their multi-visit residency with the University. You can hear them RIGHT HERE from their trip to Studio 1a.
