The StoryCorps mobile booth was in Austin recently collecting stories from your fellow central Texans. The Airstream has now left town, but we’ll continue airing the stories recorded there every Monday and Wednesday morning here on KUT and archiving them here.
Today’s StoryCorps interview features Michael Wynn and his wife Liza Kalamaha-Wynn. The Wynns met while they were in the Army Reserves together, at which point Liza was Michael’s sergeant. That was many years ago; they’ve now been married for over two decades and have five children together, including a set of triplets. When they sat down together in the StoryCorps mobile booth, they recounted much of their shared history, and Liza asked Michael what he thinks makes a strong couple.
