North Carolina based band Lost in the Trees is Ari Picker’s pop passion project. The group started out as his one man bedroom recording project, and since then has evolved to become something of a folk orchestra, with a full backing band and string section. In 2010, Lost in the Trees released their first album in their current, more orchestral iteration, called All Alone in an Empty House. The album was very well reviewed, and brought them national attention. With a follow up album due very soon, Lost in the Trees will be at this year’s SXSW music festival, and you can listen to them RIGHT HERE a part of KUT’s lineup at the Four Seasons.
