Texas duo Sons of Fathers’ name almost implies a lot about them as a band. Their music is timeless and traditional country folk, music that their fathers or their fathers’ fathers could have played. Either that, or I’m reading way too far into a band name, which is very likely. In the short time that the band has been together, they’ve become known for their flawless vocal harmonies and their very talented songwriting. Sons of Fathers’ first, self-titled album was released last year to a warm critical and fan response. Sons of Fathers joined KUT as a part of our SXSW lineup at the Four Seasons and you can listen to their set RIGHT HERE!
