It’s safe to say that Ray Wylie Hubbard is a Texas legend, but it’s not as if anyone handed him that title. He’s played music professionally for nearly 50 years now, and has been at the forefront of several movements within country music, especially the progressive country music movement of the 1970s. Each of the 15 albums he has put out throughout his career have explored different facets of the country genre, all the while maintaining his gritty and bluesy playing style. Ray Wylie Hubbard played for us live at 8AM and you can listen to his entire set RIGHT HERE!
